They contain no sugar and no flour, not even gluten-free flour.

Almond butter is what makes these brownies perfectly dense and chewy. They melt in your mouth when eaten warm, a must try!!

They're so easy to make and ready in just half an hour, making these brownies a winner to satisfy any sweet craving!

  • 170 grams Almond Butter
  • 80 grams Maple Syrup
  • 1 Egg(s)
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon(s) Bicarbonate of Soda (baking soda)
  • 40 grams Raw 100% cacao powder

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F/ 170 degrees C.
  2. Line a 9-inch baking tin with parchment paper.
  3. Using an electric mixer, whisk together the almond butter, maple syrup, egg, ghee, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Add in the cocoa powder and bicarbonate of soda and mix again until everything is combined and you have a dark fudge like batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the lined baking tin and bake for 10 minutes, until the brownie has set, but is still soft in the centre.
  6. Leave to cool for a few minutes in the tin before removing and cutting into squares.
