This is a must-bake recipe: scrumptious, sweet, baked apples with a delectable crunchy topping – who doesn't love apple crumble? And this Paleo version won't let you down!

This recipe makes about 4 servings but it's best to make the full recipe and keep the leftovers in the fridge to enjoy throughout the week!

  • 40 grams Desiccated Coconut
  • 60 grams raw almonds
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Honey
  • 4 tablespoon(s) Coconut Oil

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/180 degrees C.
     
    Peel and chop the apples into chunks.
     
    Place the chopped apples in a baking dish.
     
    Roughly chop the almonds (you can use different nuts to almonds if you prefer).
  1. Melt the coconut oil to make up 4 tablespoons of melted oil. 
  2. In a bowl, combine the desiccated coconut, chopped nuts, the melted coconut oil and honey.
  3. Crumble this topping evenly on top of the apples.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling underneath. 
  5. Serve with coconut yogurt if you fancy! Delish!
