Two keystones of a high protein diet, steak and eggs, make a classic combination that has been served for years. This is a simple recipe that can be enjoyed in the morning for breakfast or in the evening for a quick dinner. Directions

  1. Heat a frying pan over a medium high heat. Season both sides of the steak with freshly ground black pepper, rub all over with the olive oil and just before placing in the pan season with salt.
  2. Cook the steak to your liking, approximately 3 minutes on each side will usually give you a medium-rare steak.
  3. Take out the steak, set aside, and lower the temperature to medium-low. Crack open the eggs in the hot pan and cook them however you would like them prepared. Season with sea salt, freshly ground black pepper and a good pinch of paprika. Serve with the steak immediately.
