Roasted and salted nuts go perfectly with the deep, intense flavour of dark chocolate, and you’re sure to love this easy-to-make bark. Use any variety of nuts you like, or even a mixture, if the mood strikes. Either way, you’ll love these sweet and salty treats! 

This recipe will make enough treats to last you for a while!

  • 340 grams Dark chocolate
  • 120 grams Pecan Nuts

Directions

  1. Roast the pecan nuts in a dry frying pan over a medium heat for a few minutes until they start to brown. Be careful not to let them burn.
  2. Remove from the pan and set aside. 
  3. Chop the chocolate into chunks. 
  4. Melt the chocolate pieces in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water, making sure the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl.
  5. Leave the chocolate to melt without stirring and when it's nearly fully melted, gently stir to help it along to finish melting. Remove from the heat. 
  6. Stir in the roasted nuts and spread the mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Freeze until solid and break into chunks.
