These pancakes get their natural sweetness from the berries and bananas. The recipe calls for raspberries, but you can substitute any type of berry. Berries are high in antioxidants and add intense flavour and sweetness to any dish.

  • 2 Banana(s)
  • 45 grams Raspberries
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Almond Butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon(s) Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Coconut Oil

Directions

  1. Mash up the bananas and raspberries in a bowl. 
  2. In another large bowl, mix the egg whites, bananas and raspberries, and almond butter until smooth.
  3. Add the oil to a frying pan over a medium heat.
  4. Pour the batter into the pan using 1/2 cup for each pancake. Wait 2 to 3 minutes before flipping the pancakes. Cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve with a sprinkling of cinnamon and/or fresh fruit.
