Baked Salmon with a Mustard Crust

This recipe encrusts the salmon with tons of flavour, making it a very tasty dish.
Instead of slathering the salmon with mustard, this recipe uses mustard seeds to give the fish a crunchy mustardy crust!
This simple recipe shows you don’t have to go overboard when dealing with a fish like salmon, you just have to help it out a bit to give it a lovely kick!
Enjoy this with your favourite steamed greens or side salad.

- 2 Salmon fillet(s)
- 4 teaspoon(s) mustard seeds
- 0.5 teaspoon(s) Garlic Powder
- 0.5 teaspoon(s) Dried dill
- 0.25 teaspoon(s) Black Pepper
- 0.25 teaspoon(s) Sea Salt

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F/200 degrees C.
- Grind all of the spices together, including the salt and pepper, with a pestle and mortar until the mustard seeds are cracked, most are powder, and everything is well blended.
- Spread the spice mixture over the salmon fillets evenly, and place on a baking tray.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve with steamed greens or side salad.
